Privacy sensitive or otherwise known as personal data are being processed through our webshop. Handling these data with professional care is what Dekbed Discounter deems highly important. We therefore process and secure personal data carefully.

Use of personal data
Through your use of our webshop, we obbtain certain information. This might be personal data. We only use and store personal data you provided directly to us in relation to the by you requested service or data of which it is clear that you give them to us to be processed.

For certain parts of our webshop you need to register first. After your registration, we store the username and personal data you’ve chosen and signed up with. We store these data so you will not have to fill in these data over and over again and in order for us to be able to contact you regarding the execution of the agreement.
We will not give your username and linked data to third parties, unless this is strictly necessary for the execution of the agreement you have concluded with us or legally obligated. In case of any suspicion of fraud or abuse of our webshop, we could give your personal data to the entitled authorities.
Access to portal
With our portal you can gain access to an administrative environment in which you yourself can set, register or alter information.
Handling the order
When you place an order in our webshop, we use your personal data to handle this order. If proper handling of your order requires us to do so, we could give relevant personal data to a third party. You can read more about this further on in this privacy statement.

Contact form and newsletter
Through our website, we offer you the possibility to ask questions by means of a contact form, in which you will be asked to fill in several data to process your questions/request. It is up to you what kind of data you herewith provide. The data you provide us with will be kept as long as the nature of the contact form or the content of your e-mail requires for us to fully answer or completely take care of it.
We offer a newsletter meant to inform those who are interested in our products and services. Your e-mail address is automatically added to the list of subscribers. Each and every newsletter contains a link that you can use to unsubscribe.
If the service requires it, we might collect your GPS data. Before this will actually happen, your permission will be asked.
These GPS data can also be stored and processed by the provider of, for instance, the navigation/map software, such as Google Maps, but the data can also be used by, for instance, Google or Apple. This is beyond our control. We advise you to read the privacy statement of the relevant provider.
We do not publish your customer data. If you leave a review, you decide whether you publish this anonymously or signed with your name.

Provision of data to third parties
We can pass on your data to our partners, whom are involved in the execution of the agreement.
These partners are (partly) located outside the EU. We have strict arrangements with them to comply with the Europian privacy regulations.
On our webshop, cookies are being used. Cookies are also active through third parties whom are commissioned by us.
You are free to deactivate cookies through your browser. Please keep in mind that this may affect the optimal functioning of our website.
We use Google Analytics to keep track of how visitors use our webshop. We have made arrangements with Google about how we process and handle our data.
Further more, we have not allowed Google to use the generated Analytics information for other Google services, lastly, we make sure IP addresses are anonymous.
We take security measures to limit abuse of and unauthorized access to personal data.
The above mentioned personal data are being stored for as long as it takes to process and handle your order, warranty included. After that, we keep data for a maximum of one more year in relation to the previously mentioned statistic purposes. Thereafter, the data will be deleted, unless there is a legal obligation to keep the data for a longer period of time (such as the fiscal retention protocol to keep a hold on payment information for seven years).
Websites of third parties
This privacy statement does not apply to websites of third parties linked to our webshop through hyperlinks. We can not guarantee that these third parties will handle your personal data safely or in a trustworthy manner. We advise you to read the privacy statements of these websites before you make use of them.

We reserve the right to alter this privacy statement. It is recommended to read/consult this privacy statement regularly, so that you will be aware of the alterations.

You can send us a request to view your data or to alter or delete them. You can also request data export of data we are using with your consent, or make known with statement of reasons why you would like to limit the way we process your personal data.
To prevent any abuse, we can thereby ask you to identify yourself accurately.
